School of Business , Economics - Wales

Established in 1920 and located on the outline of the Gower peninsula, Swansea University of Wales is a dynamic, research-focused University at the helm of academic innovation. The School of Business and Economics has a vivacious and multi-ethnic milieu and is housed on the University's campus with state-of-the-art facilities.

Programs Offered

The Masters in Management Program of the School offers the following degrees:

  • MSc Management
  • MSc Management (Marketing)
  • MSc Management (Finance)
  • MSc Management (International Management)



The Masters in Business Economics Program of the School offers the following degrees:
  • MSc Business Economics
  • MSc Business Economics with Finance
  • MSc Business Economics with Computing
Besides the above, the School also offers separate Masters Degrees in Finance and Marketing.

Scholarships

International Postgraduate Scholarships that contribute £1,000 for the first year of study can be applied for by all postgraduate students in all courses of the University.

Facilities

Library & Information Services stock material supporting research, and recently a huge endeavor was made to upgrade and widen the research related texts for the students of the School of Business and Economics.

Materials on the following topics are housed in the library:
  • Quantitative research
  • Sampling
  • Statistical analysis & tests
  • Multidimensional scaling
Clubs and Societies run by the Students' Union enable students to interact and participate in a lot of events. The School of Business and Economics has a special Student Intranet for the benefit of the students. University accommodation for postgraduates is located in modern properties, situated within a mile or two from the campus.
