Troy University At Dothan - USA

The foundation of the Troy University was laid on February 26, 1887. An Act of the Alabama Legislature established State Normal School, Troy. The main objective of the institution was to train teachers for Alabama's schools. Troy University Dothan was founded in 1961. Troy University at Dothan is a part of Troy State University System. The University also offers bachelor's, master's and post-master's certificates. Troy University at Dothan is located on a small-town 250-acre campus. The University has 1,538 undergraduate students.

The various academic divisions of TROY-Dothan campus are College of Arts and


Sciences, College of Education and Sorrell College of Business. Troy University is dedicated to meeting the training needs of the Wiregrass and surrounding areas. In the Dothan Campus program there are certificate programs, customized business and industry training, personal development and professional development. The continuing Education courses are non-credit.
