Institute of Indigenous Government - Canada

Established in 1955, the institute was originally situated in Yaletown, but later shifted in the neighborhood of Vancouver, this college is famous as a publicly-funded post- secondary institute and is known as Canada's First Nations College.

The institute offers various programs to the students which include different subjects and discipline:

  • Business Administration
  • English as Second Language (ESL)
  • First Nations Studies
  • General Arts
  • International Studies
  • Not-for-profit Management
  • Human Resource Administration
  • Psychology
  • Wildlife Management
Apart from these courses the institute also offers the courses in

  • Legal and Social Services
  • Liberal Arts and Humanities. The institute has different requirements for students who do not have English as the first language. They are required to take the course on ESL.
