Swansea College - Wales

Established almost 200 years ago, Swansea College is one of the biggest colleges in South West Wales. It emphasizes on the notions of extensive participation, lasting erudition, and equal prospects for all at the helm of its processes and constantly endeavors distinction and quality in the delivery of education and student facilities.

Courses Offered

Swansea College teaches courses, some of which are hardcore academic and some of which are lightly academic. Some of the courses available at Swansea College include:

The courses are taught at different levels. To apply for a BTEC First Diploma, the minimum qualifications required are 4 GCSEs at grade D. To apply for a BTEC National Certificate or Diploma, the minimum qualifications required are 4 GCSEs at grade C.

Student Facilities The Learning Resource Centers at Swansea provide the following facilities:

  • An umpteen number of websites to view
  • Books and magazines for recreation
Students have the opportunity of availing the services of the College's beauty parlors at subsidized rates. Membership charges for the Sports Centre are waived for students of the College. There are plenty of eateries and hangouts at the College. The College arranges for accommodation in single rooms for international students at residences of British families. Breakfast and dinner are provided to the students who stay as paying guests with these families.
