Glasgow school of Art - Scotland

The Glasgow School of Art is dedicated to the study and advancement of fine art, design and architecture. This school focuses on international community, art and architecture .the name of Charles Rennie Mackintosh is inextricably linked with this college. It is the first government art school founded in the year 1845.

The school offers undergraduate, post graduate and research degrees. The research and post-graduate study is practice –led, studio and theory based. Students with professional experience are also eligible to pursue PhD Degrees. The college education helps make careers in fashion, textiles, design and architecture.

The eight research centers of the GSA are based on subjects like, 3D computer Visualization, Environmental architecture, digital textiles, archives and collection, drawing, fine art practice, art in social context and pedology.

Barnes Graham Scholarship, John and Mabel Craig Scholarship, Governor's international Student Scholarship, Grace and Clarke Fyfe Scholarship, etc

Some of the post graduate scholarships are:
William and Mary Armour Fellowship, Sir Harry Barnes Scholarship, Bellahouston Bequest Scholarship, DOG Digital Scholarship, Grace and Clark Fyfe Architecture Masters Scholarship etc.
The school has a Digital Design Studio is a search centre which ensures special working and learning condition for its students.

The other research centers are: Centre for Advanced Textile, Mackintosh Research Centre, International drawing Research Institute, Centre for Creative Education, Studio 55 etc
