Bangor University Of Wales

Established in 1884, the Bangor University of Wales constitutes over 9000 students, 20 Subject Departments and more than 600 professors. Bangor is regarded as the best University of UK in context of the assistance it provides to its students. The University is situated in the county of Gwynedd at Bangor in Wales.

Student Support

The Library houses innumerable textbooks, reference books, journals and e-resources. The University Archives comprise a host of knowledge in specialized fields. The Enquiries Service constituting Library staff answer questions posed by students regarding library usage via face-to-face interaction, email and telephone. Students may register with the University's Bodnant Medical Centre and avail of the facilities provided by the Centre on every week day. Health Nurses are present at the Centre to handle Family Planning issues, vaccinations, health checkups etc. Students are also entitled to free medical examinations at the Centre for sickness during the semester.

The Bangor University of Wales reserves rooms for all its first year students in the University's Halls of Residence. The University has a total of 2000 rooms in its Halls of Residence.
