University of Aberdeen Business School Scotland

University of Aberdeen Business School (UABS) was established 2002 in King's College. The Business School's Programs blend the experience of imparting education for over half a millennium with modern business concepts of globalization.

Bursaries

The Dr R J Colley Bursary is awarded by the University for two years to postgraduate students. The bursary is worth £1,500 per year. Applicants must supply proofs of their academic records and show genuine monetary difficulties to be eligible for the bursary. The Scottish Economic Society Scholarship provides funds for students doing Ph.D in Economics from the 2006-07 session.

Library

A newly established Library of the University offers the following added advantages to the students:

  • Surroundings built to support modern study techniques
  • Spaces can support quiet study as well as group discussions
Student Support

The Business School is linked with the Association of Business Schools (ABS) which enables it to provide smart advice and current information on Business to enhance the program quality. Students of the School can become members of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) automatically and hence can avail of the business resources of the Institute free of cost.

Accommodation

The University has 2000 rooms for accommodating its students in its Hillhead Hall, Crombie Johnston Hall and Elphinstone Road Flats.
