The University of North Alabama is a public co-educational college. The college is located in Florence, Alabama. The University was established as LaGrange College in 1830. Many prominent people have been members of LaGrange's alumni. Alabama governors Edward A. O'Neal, David P. Lewis, US Senator Jeremiah Clemens have studied in this reputed college. The University of North Alabama has small classes with an average class size of 23 students.
The various colleges at the University of Alabama are College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, College of Education and College of Nursing. The College of Business offers the Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
The University also offers graduate studies in Arts and Sciences, Business and Education. The University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and School.
