National University of Hanoi

National University of Hanoi on 10th December, 1993. It has been created after the amalgamation of three universities such as Hanoi Foreign Language Teacher's Training College, University of Hanoi and Hanoi teacher's training College No.1. This university was founded by the people's democratic state.

National University of Hanoi is comprised of five colleges such as General Education, Social Science, Teacher Training, Foreign Languages and Natural Science. The authorities are planning to add more colleges. Students need to pass the upper secondary school leaving examination before getting admission in this college. They also need to pass the entrance examination.

The language of instruction in Hanoi National University is Vietnamese. The courses follow semester system. It is a multidisciplinary university. This university provides master degree courses. The faculties are experienced. National University, Hanoi continues the tradition of all leading Vietnam Universities in terms of training programs, the technical facilities.

National University of Hanoi was granted autonomy in various activities, scientific and technical research, training, planning finance, organization-personnel as well as international relations.
