Universities in Hanoi have contributed a lot in the development of Vietnam. Most of the universities provide undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate degree courses. The universities are quite well equipped. The experienced teachers offer high quality academic training.
Some of the Universities in Hanoi are
Polytechnic University Hanoi: It was founded in 1965. It is the first national university of technology in this country. This university has trained 80,000 engineers, 1,500 masters and 330 doctors. It offers 63 specialized fields of study.
National Economic University Hanoi: Established on 25th January, 1956 it was renamed several times and finally received this name in 1985. It is one of the major economic research center of Vietnam. It functions under the supervision of Ministry of Education.
Architecture University Hanoi: This university was founded in 1969 by the Board of Government. It offers graduate, postgraduate and doctorate degree courses. Many of the small and large architectural sites are made by the lecturers, students and staff of this university.
Hanoi Agricultural University: Comprised of disciplines for rural and agricultural advancement of Vietnam this university was established on 12th October 1965. It was reorganized may times. It includes several faculties.
National University of Hanoi: This university was created as a result of the amalgamation of three universities such as University of Hanoi, Hanoi Foreign Language Teacher's Training College and Hanoi teacher's training College No.1.
